Our Story
At Chalk & Ink Co., our story begins in the heart of Midcoast Maine, where creativity and community come together in every project we take on. Founded by Katie Warner, a local elementary school teacher, our mission is to bring the beauty of hand-lettered calligraphy, custom window art, and chalkboard designs to life for people and businesses alike.
What started as a way to share my love of art with my students and create personalized pieces for family and friends soon blossomed into a business that celebrates the art of handwriting and design in all its forms. Over the years, we’ve had the joy of transforming everything from storefront windows to wedding events to home decor with one-of-a-kind pieces that add a personal touch and a sense of warmth.
